      Authoring a Poll

      Get started with polling in Google Chat

      To start a poll in Hangouts, type something like the following into a channel: @polly "Your poll in quotes" "voting option" "another voting option"

      You’ll need to specify at least 2 options, and at most 10 options. Polls are currently not anonymous, and everyone has access to the results.

      ✏️ Note: Polly no longer offers support for its app on the Google Chat platform. It is currently available on Slack, MS Teams & Zoom
